Weatherproof Adhesive Glue: Indoor or Outdoor Bonding & Sealing
Adiseal weatherproof adhesive glue delivers a 100% water-resistant bond in dry, damp, wet, or even underwater conditions. It is suitable for both internal and external construction bonding owing to its weatherproof characteristics. With the ability to endure harsh weather conditions, it ensures a water-resistant, high-strength, durable, and flexible construction bond. Adiseal weatherproof adhesive has demonstrated its strength, emerging as the strongest adhesive in an independent adhesive strength test.

Why Adiseal is a great weatherproof adhesive
Most adhesives require dry conditions for effective bonding. Adiseal high-performance construction weatherproof adhesive creates bonds on dry, damp, wet surfaces, and even underwater. It adheres to items whether the surface is wet or dry. Given its ability to cure underwater, it proves ideal for water-related projects. Adiseal also resists UV radiation.
What is the strongest weatherproof adhesive?
In an independent test carried out by Ultimate Handyman to determine the strongest adhesive, Adiseal unequivocally emerged as the strongest construction adhesive, surpassing its competitors by a significant margin.
The test protocol involved applying each adhesive between wood and metal surfaces and subjecting them to pressure using a hydraulic ram to measure the breaking point of each bond. Adiseal exhibited exceptional strength, proving to be more than three times stronger than the next best product.
The adhesive bond strength of Adiseal became evident as the screws of the test rig started tearing out, and even the hydraulic ram seal gave way, leading to the premature termination of the test. Adiseal undeniably established itself as the strongest adhesive by a considerable margin.
Test results
In the evaluation of bond strength between hardwood and metal, Adiseal demonstrated remarkable resistance to pressure, enduring a force exceeding 3123+ psi. In contrast, all other grab adhesives faltered at 1115 psi or lower. The chart below vividly illustrates Adiseal’s exceptional strength as a grab adhesive, showcasing its unparalleled performance.
Product | Max pressure when adhesive bond broke (psi) |
Adiseal | 3123 + psi |
SupaBond | 1115 psi |
Tec 7 | 1016 psi |
HB42 | 942 psi |
Loctite PL Premium | 873 psi |
Gorilla Grab Adhesive | 862 psi |
Bond It PU18 | 582 psi |
Bond It Save Nails | 411 psi |
“That is actually unbelievable!”

Mould resistance
In situations where a weatherproof adhesive is exposed to water, the possibility of mould growth on the adhesive surface exists. Adiseal, however, exhibits exceptional mould resistance. To assess the mould resistance of various adhesives, we conducted a test involving submerging them in water for several days. The image below clearly demonstrates that Adiseal remained free from mould, even after undergoing 90 days of continuous submersion in the same water.
Clear weatherproof adhesive
Adiseal Ultra Clear Weatherproof Adhesive stands out for its transparency, unlike some other clear adhesives that may become cloudy upon application. Additionally, it retains its clarity even when exposed to water.

What materials it can bond
How to use a weatherproof adhesive
How to use a weatherproof adhesive
- Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or debris.
Clean the surfaces thoroughly using an appropriate cleaner or solvent. - Apply the Adhesive
Apply the weatherproof adhesive to one of the surfaces in a thin, even layer. Covering more surface area ensures a better bond.
Take care not to apply too much adhesive that it squeezes out excessively when the two materials are pressed together. - Join the Surfaces
Press the two surfaces together, ensuring that the adhesive is in contact with both.
Apply firm and even pressure to facilitate a strong bond. - Temporary support (not always necessary)
Depending on the adhesive type and the materials being bonded, you may need to use clamps or other forms of support to hold the surfaces together during the curing process.
- Curing Time
Allow the adhesive to cure for the recommended duration specified by the product instructions. Curing times can vary, and factors such as temperature and humidity may influence the process.
- Clean Excess Adhesive
Remove any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out during the bonding process. Use a suitable solvent or cleaner recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
Tip: To store Adiseal once opened, leave about 1cm worth of product out of the nozzle and store the tube upright in a cool dry place. Adiseal requires moisture for it to cure. The exposed part out of the nozzle will cure creating a cap. To re-use Adiseal, pull the cured part out or cut the nozzle until the uncured part is reached.
Colours
Adiseal adhesive and sealant is available in the following colours:
- White adhesive and white sealant
- Black adhesive and black sealant
