Electrical Waterproof Gel
Electrical waterproof gel is designed to provide insulation & sealing inside electrical junction boxes. This is to protect from the ingress of liquids & solids. IPGel Duo provides IP68 gel protection whereas IPGel Mono provides IP67 gel protection. IP means ingress protection. Electrical waterproof gels are also known as junction box gel or electrical insulating gel.
Junction box gel
Junction box gel or electrical insulating gel is used to protect connections inside an electrical junction box. Liquid entering an electrical junction box can cause a short circuit. This can potentially damage the cable, damage equipment, create an electrical shock hazard or even cause a fire. Electrical sealing gel will stop water, liquids and solids from reaching the electrical connections inside the box.
The electrical junction box gel is very useful if there is a chance of water from entering the box. If an electrical junction box is outdoors, there is a high chance of water reaching the box.

How to use IPGel Duo junction box gel
Seal any holes in the electrical junction box. Adiseal adhesive & sealant is a good product to seal any holes in the electrical junction box.
Pour equal amounts of Component A & Component B into the mixing jug.
Mix the contents for 30 seconds.
Pour the mixture into the electrical box to be sealed.
Wait about 10 minutes (20°C) for the mixture to set.

How to use IPGel Mono electrical sealing gel
Seal any holes in the electrical junction box. Adiseal adhesive & sealant is a good product to seal any holes in the electrical junction box. Remove the gel from tub & push into the electrical junction box. Make sure any bubbles are removed from the gel.
